The Republican Party has some evolving to do

I've just read a very important article by William Edelen in the Santa Barbara News Press. The editorial article is titled "Republican Party has some evolving to do". Here's a brief exerpt from the article and a link to it on the News Press website. However, you will need to register on the website to read the remainder of the article. I believe it's worth it to register to read it.

Hi Bill, hope you are feeling good. Looks like it going to be a good night.

As far as republicans evolving, evolution is full of dead-ends that failed to adapt and now occupy dusty museums. The republicans I'm around aren't dinosaurs, which bought the collective farm after an asteroid strike, but I'd have to say they are Neanderthals that just failed to adapt to a changing world.

Beach, I have a secret crush on Saracuda. (Don't try to come between us.) Nothing would please me more than having her lead the Republicans. She's perfect. She's the best case 2012 scenario and the most unlikely!
