Sen. McCain said just now on CNN that the Democrats should consider the consequences of our forces pulling out of Iraq and the resulting failure. Bush and the Republicans should have thought about that before he ordered our forces to go into Iraq in the first place.

I won't say anything about Senator McCain's military service to the country and what he went through as a POW. But at this moment in time the man is bonkers for saying that there are safe neighborhoods in Baghdad were a person could walk safely. Wolf Blizter asked the CNN newsdude in Baghdad about that and the newsdude wanted the good senator to call him up and locate them for him.
McCain says he can take a stroll in Baghdad with or without protection. See?
